Fountain Creek Ranch

Updated: Jul 17

If you’re looking for a rustic venue, I definitely recommend Fountain Creek Ranch. This venue is actually on a working ranch located in Fountain, CO. They only do weddings from May to September, and the field is typically full of beautiful, colorful wildflowers. They have a lot of things to offer, so let me break it down for you.

They offer four different packages for you to choose from: a weekday package for $6,500, a single weekend day for $8,000, a weekend half day package for $6,500, and a full weekend package for $25,000. All packages include decor, tables, chairs, linens, full coordination, outdoor games and a firepit, parking attendants, and a one hour rehearsal the day before the wedding. If you have any items you’d like to bring to the rehearsal, you are able to leave them at the venue so they are already onsite. Full day packages include a twelve hour rental and half day packages have a six hour rental. You are able to bring in your own vendors, although they do provide a preferred list if you’re still searching. The Full

Weekend Package includes three days and two nights at the Big House (I’ll tell you more about this later), fishing access, a tented space for the rehearsal dinner, and rehearsal dinner coordination.

There are three main spaces at this venue. The Big House is actually the house that the family who owns the property grew up in. This house is provided to you as a space to get ready and hang out before the ceremony. A lot of people tend to gravitate to the room with a pool table and darts. As I stated before, you also have the opportunity to stay the night in the Big House if you’d like. They have a capacity for twelve overnight guests, and the house is equipped with a washer, dryer, and shower. Your ceremony would take place in the field under a large tree, with a great view of Pikes Peak. This setting creates a romantic feel on its own, but you can also make it your own by adding a wedding arch, aisle runner, or other décor. The reception tent is

right next to the ceremony space, and is already decorated with string lights. There is also plenty of opportunity here to personalize the space with your décor. The capacity for the ceremony and reception areas are 100 for weekday weddings and 200 for weekend weddings. They also provide golf carts from the parking area to the ceremony for anyone who might have trouble walking.

This venue already has a lot of charm on its own, but gives you the room to execute your own design. Fountain Creek Ranch is a great venue for you if you’ve always dreamed of a country wedding.
